It's been a very long time darlings, but I am back!! I have been with my gorgeous other half for a year now, since I was last posting. It is the first time I have felt complete. Needless to say though, the wait to try is unbearable as always! I'm 32 now, and not getting any younger, but I am optimistic and have never been in a better position.

How are you all?? (((Hugs)))

Hayfever season is back and my eyes are red and itchy :( My OH is so sweet in telling me how pretty they are all the time, but hayfever is inexorable *sigh* Normally one is brown the other is blue, but now they are both matched in being bloodshot!

Welcome back, although I don't think I was here when you were!

Hi Katie you have the same first name as the previous cl. I wonder how she is now.

I am very interested in what other's experiences of age difference in relationships are and have not known anyone with such a great one as that. How much cultural difference is there between different generations? My OH is 9 years younger than me, but we both have the same interests, really just enjoying each others company.

I'm Charlotte.

Hi Charlotte!

Welcome back:) I think I came here after you left but there should still be a few familiar faces who haven't graduated. I'm Ashley, 22, wtt with Thomas,27. We are waiting until we get married next summer, until I am finished with my BA (also next summer), and so that he will be at least 30 when the baby is born. That puts me at waiting until summer of 2010, but I love this board and it makes the wait much easier.

Having allergies must be awful! I had them when I was younger and when it was too hot I would get these awful hives all over my body. I can't imagine having to deal with something like that year after year.

I love your name BTW:)

Hi Ashley, you look pretty in your avatar! I was going to post a picture of my OH and I together in my sig but was very distressed indeed by the way a different thread I started on this board turned out. I'm sorry to report I let my temper get out of control, but not without grave provocation I think. I may not be able to post much in future.

Yes, hayfever is unappealing - a problem for me in summer, I sneeze like a messy snufftaker and get red and itchy eyes and a hoarse voice. My OH is always happy when this season comes around though and the sun accentuates the sprinkling of freckles over his nose and cheeks, he is so lovely. I've a good feeling now that the time to try has come at last. Carpe Diem you know, seize the moment ;)

Hi! Well we are a great group of women here so I am sure that everyone is willing to move on from whatever happened. Plus we all know how hard it is when you have a really strong opinion about something although then the best solution is normally to take it to the debate board or rant to the SO about it:)

I hope you stick around though! So when do you think you will start trying?

Hello again Katie I see you have a daughter now, congratulations, isn't she gorgeous. If only I were near enough to hold her despite the risk of a subsequent babynapping taking place! Has she reached the stage where she grabs your hair with lightning quick little hands? I babysit a new friend's baby alot these days. She is only 18 and can't possibly have been "ready" in the optimal sense and yet she is a mother and I'm not after waiting I cringe to relate how long. My SO always dissuades me from keeping her son with me *sighs* But not to worry I have *fingers crossed* finally helped him see that it is time for us to be parents. Please wish me luck. xx

Good luck... he'll come around.

Caroline is only 4 months so she'll occasionally grab a fistful of hair but has no real clue what she's doing. I'm sure the time will come when she'll start pulling on it to play.
