Hi all,

My husband(since March 2008) and I have been talking for a few weeks and have finally decided to start trying in September of 2009.

Hello and welcome! I'm new here too and like you and many of the other ladies here, impatient and frustrated by WTT. :) It seems we all have these rosey ideas about getting married

WELCOME!!! I'm Mariana, and I'll start "not preventing" on my wedding next july.
Try not to worry about PCOS, there are many ladies in the board who suffer from it (I'm one of them), and although most of the times it's a bit harder, there are lot's of babies out there showing that it is doable!

Hi! Congratulations on the wedding! How long have you and your hubby been together?

It will be nerve-wracking for you to only be able to try for a specific amount of time but at the same time if you start charting beforehand and BD every day for about 4-5 days leading up to ovulation, and 1-2 days later your chances are really good for getting pregnant within 5 months:)

I also had basically the same experience as you- went a whole year without getting my period, and was diagnosed with PCOS as a teenager but in my case I gained some weight and now after just recently stopping the pill my cycles have been fine. I ovulate and have a clear temperature shift. The good thing is if you start charting 3 months before hand and can show your doctor you don't ovulate naturally on your own they can give you clomid right away to regulate your cycles and then you don't have to waste any time trying to get pregnant when you aren't even ovulating.

I'm Ashley, 22, waiting to try with my fiance Thomas, 27, until summer of 2009 or 2010 although since he isn't ready yet I am guessing that 2010 will be much more likely:)
