We haven't heard from you for a while. Is everything going ok?

Sarah (sohappilyme) did you meet your internet friend? Did you have a good time?

Yes! It was great! Getting our two families of four together was potentially interesting and boy was it WEIRD meeting someone that I've talked to for years and have never actually MET! She knows TMI about me--it was one of those things where you talk about all kinds of personal information b/c the other person lives hundreds of miles away and you can just vent without having to see them on the weekend and know they're picturing you w/ those hemorroids you mentioned, LOL! But it went GREAT (she's still speaking to me, so I guess we weren't too offensive, LOL!) and our DHs hit it off--we kind of had to separate them. It turned into that friendly boys-vs-girls conversation stuff (why do men... and why do women... etc, LOL!) We were there about eight hours on Saturday and stopped by before leaving town on Sunday and ended up staying way longer than we intended--about 3.5 hours...time flies! AND, unbelievably, our kids (her DD 2.5, my DD 4, and my DS 2.5) didn't get into the first disagreement (that we know of) the whole time we were there. They're all asking to see one another again! Her DS is only 3.5 months old and does NOTHING for a bad case of baby fever, but at least there's a cure in sight, LOL! They're coming to spend a few days with us in the fall. It was a GREAT trip! (My kids didn't even fight in the car on the 10 hour drive!) Thanks for asking!
