Question about the roll call

I heard that these boards never archive, and that instead the messages stay around forever - although they might get pushed down the screen until they are out of view. I was wondering what we will do about the roll call? Will we just wait until the roll call thread disappears and then start a new one, or will the old one keep being used over and over again? The reason why I'm asking is because roll call information could become out-of-date, which is why I think new roll calls need to be started regularly. Members graduate, people have birthdays, people might change their WTT date, etc. which is why I don't think we should keep the same roll call thread going. Just wondering...

My thought was to do roll call once a week, like the other regular threads. Probably on the weekends? We can date each one like I dated the Wednesday Woes for 3/26 and the most recent one should always be the closest to the top.

Good idea, Sarah! Though I was thinking that maybe we could do the roll call once a fortnight instead of every week, because people might get sick of entering their same old details in every week (unless one of those details changes, which wouldn't be likely to happen every week). However, I suppose it makes more sense to do it weekly because we have all our other threads posted on a weekly basis, like the Wednesday Woes, etc...

Oh, and I think we should post the roll call on Mondays because that is the beginning of the week, and many people aren't around on weekends...
