Hi everyone. I'm very new to this, so forgive me. I am Dina from the midwest. My DH and I got married last August and are wtt. We hope to start trying as soon as we get settled into our new house. We had originally planned on trying early this year and he pushed the date back until we got moved into our house. I am getting more and more frustrated as time goes on.

I know how you feel. Except instead of having all the pregnant women at work, I keep seeing people announcing their pregnancies on facebook! lol. It's like my entire graduating class from high school has already had kids or they are expecting (and I'm only 22! lol). I too am about to move into a new house in a couple of weeks, but instead of 'settling', I am trying to lose about 40 pounds before ttc.

I feel it too - spring and new life is in the air!

One of DH's coworkers just had a baby, and he just found out another is pregnant. And my former boss/mentor and his wife just had their 2nd baby this weekend, so I've been eagerly looking at their pictures. Still none of our CLOSE friends - we're pretty young and not many of our friends are married yet. But if my best friend who got married the same year as us gets PG before we do, I'll be crazy jealous. She is planning to TTC spring 2012 - we're still not sure when.

I do think DH is feeling the baby fever from all of these pregnancies, and we smile at PG ladies at the mall together, but he's still not ready to talk about it seriously. He said he's still going through it in his head. I told him that we can talk about it even if he's not ready, and work through our concerns together - I don't expect him to wake up one day and be 100% ready. We'll see.

Hi Dina I'm Adrienne, nice to meet you! I'm 28, DH is James, 32, and our DS is james, 5 months. I was "WTT" before my son and now I'm back to WTT again!

It can be really hard to WTT, I totally get it. Though pretty much everyone I know who waited was glad they did, if they helps at all (alternatively, people who get pregnant unexpectedly sooner than planned are usually glad they did, too, so, either way, hehe).

I hope you only have a few months left to wait!! Hopefully hanging out on this board will help your baby fever. :-)

And yes, everyone is pregnant. My cousin's GF just had a baby a few weeks ago, my friend is due in two weeks, my other cousin is 33 weeks pregnant (I had total bump envy when we saw them, didn't expect THAT so soon!), my SIL is 31 weeks pregnant, my other friend is 18 weeks pregnant, my husband's cousin is 15 weeks with TWINS, and my husband's other cousin is in the middle of the private adoption process. When I got pregnant with James literally none of our familly or friends had babies and now this! Wowza! I'm glad about it though because it means friends and cousins for james! And, several of these people were trying for a long time and/or had a m/c before or had to do fertility treatments, so I'm so happy for all of them to finally be bringing home a baby (or two, haha!).

Dina- Welcome. and I can totally relate. I was in your shoes a few years ago. All my friends were getting pregnant and my DH wasn't ready yet. However, at the time we were still living in Corpus Christi, TX and since then we moved to Indianapolis and closer to our families before we had our son.

. And I am glad in the end that we waited but it is so tough when everyone around you is getting pregnant. I am starting to get baby fever a little again as all my friends who got pregnant then are now having baby #2. And I would love to TTC right now but I know we have to wait until next summer so that our debt is paid off, we can buy a van (we have two small cars and that won't work for two kids and a dog) and I can stay at home as daycare for two would be a fortune. So I know there is a reason for waiting but I know as it gets closer my baby fever will get worse. Luckily I have a little boy to play with and entertain so it isn't as bad as it was before I had him.

Anyway I wanted to let you know I have been in your shoes and hopefully your DH will want to TTC soon.

BTW...My name is Sandy and I am 35 and my DH is Jason and he is 33.
