I feel that it's time for a new thread since the other one is getting long!

It helps me tremendously to talk about my weight loss on here! In fact, I gained nine pounds when I stopped...So it's time to get real again!

You don't have to write your weight down: you could use percentages!

Your starting weight: 166 in February 2010
Your weight now: 154: was at 145 last April
Your goal: 127 or less
Your height: 5'2.5"
How are you doing it? I believe I did a too strict diet I couldn't keep up with, so now, even though I won't lose as quickly, I want to just focus on nutrition and exercise.

Hi ladies,

The class was super fun! It was really comfortable and the instructor was awesome. I'm so excited about this, I cant wait to go this Tuesday.
As for the weight loss, I've been doing WW for four weeks now and havent lost a thing...its so damn frustrating and I'm trying so hard. Last week was really hard, I was expecting a good loss and instead went up 0.2...grrrr!!

Way to go, Becki! A journal is a great idea. I used to write down all my eating and exercise with a friend, but she's tired of it...Ironically we both gained back almost ten pounds after we stopped, sigh!

I had a terrible PMS last week full of cravings...We got a coupon for a free Dairy Cream blizzard so we ate one last Friday. Now DH is telling me he wants to lose weight, which will make it easier I feel as he keeps bringing candies home!

Ruby: It is possible you gained muscle mass while losing fat! Did you measure your waist size? I find that more meaningful than the scale often times...

How are you ladies doing?

I weighed in last week and was down 3.2 lbs! Woot! First big loss since I started 4 weeks ago. I'm also starting week 3 of bellydancing this week and I'm hoping my rhythm shows up soon. Its very fun but at times I can get lost or feel super stiff and unable to move the way I should. I also signed up for Vintage Burlesque classes at this same dance studio. Those start in November for 6 weeks, I'm really looking forward to it :)

My waist feels much better and less full if that makes sense...I think its the fewer carbs and such. My pants fit again which is nice :)

Good job, Ruby! Wow, vintage burlesque! It sounds like you're having lots of fun! It's good to find fun ways to be active.

I just got DH's cold so I need to rest although I will be careful of what I eat!

I have Canadian Thanksgiving this weekend, but I have been sick and have not had much appetite...The thing with me is exercise, I hate it!

So how's everyone doing? I am really going to focus harder on this as I am out of shape...I exercised yesterday and will try to do it five days a week! I am cutting out sweets as well and will weigh myself more often.

Ok, I am weighing in and will be accountable! I was at 155.6 today and hope to see that number go down by next Monday! I am planning on having a good week!
