I feel that it's time for a new thread since the other one is getting long!

It helps me tremendously to talk about my weight loss on here! In fact, I gained nine pounds when I stopped...So it's time to get real again!

You don't have to write your weight down: you could use percentages!

Your starting weight: 166 in February 2010
Your weight now: 154: was at 145 last April
Your goal: 127 or less
Your height: 5'2.5"
How are you doing it? I believe I did a too strict diet I couldn't keep up with, so now, even though I won't lose as quickly, I want to just focus on nutrition and exercise.

Thanks ladies! I am so happy with myself this week. Ate more than I was planning to at the Christmas party, but stuck to one drink, and I went to the gym afterward AND did a yoga video at home! :) Yes, the gym at work is free, very lucky to have that! It's small, just a couple of machines, but they're there and available and rarely is anyone else in the room, which I prefer. (Unless it's a friend.)

Nice job doing the Wii Fit Christine! I forget if I already said this, I have a Wii but I asked my mom for a Wii Fit for Christmas, so that should be good. I would definitely be tired of it after three years though. Have you played DDR on the Wii? You would have to buy a dance pad, but that's a great type of game, and excellent exercise! Also, fantastic news if you can exercise with your coworkers. That would be great motivation and more fun. I have been trying to recruit my coworkers into going to the gym with me too.

Great job with the will-power at the party and coming home and working out afterwards! I love DDR, have played it at arcades before. Where did you find yours? I also saw there's a Zumba game for Wii, too. :-)

Our staff Christmas party is on Monday and it's going to be tough to eat healthy. We're ordering in pizza and Italian beef sandwiches and everyone is bringing a side. We're all stressed because the kids have two Christmas performances that day and one the following night so I'm sure we're all going to eat to feel better, lol.

I haven't played the Wii DDR but I own Pump it Up for PS2, basically the same thing. Try Walmart or Amazon, according to my DH.

For the party - decide and envision ahead of time what you plan to eat. Then when you get there, stick to your plan and try not to look around. I did this last night, we went out to Denny's but beforehand I decided I was going to have an omelette on their Fit Fare menu. When I got there, the sugary menu items like red velvet pancakes were tempting, but I refused to look at them and went with the fit omelette. And it was tasty!
