Your starting weight: 166 in February 2010
Your weight now: I will come back to this as I haven't weighed myself in a while!
Your goal: 127 or less
Your height: 5'2.5"
How are you doing it? The past few days have been good! I am eating healthy food and have been cycling on my bike for 30-40 minutes plus using dumbbells and ankle weights. I also just changed my shoes which had been making me quite tired, so that helps!

Hey ladies! I haven't been around in a little while, borrowing a computer and ivillage is very slow on it, plus work has been busy. In any case, I've been on a fitness kick these last few weeks and feeling awesome.

Your starting weight: 287, back in 2006
Your weight now: 204
Your goal: 170
Your height: 5'6''
How are you doing it? I've used caloriecount.com to log calories for a long time; it works great when I can keep it up. I've been good lately! I've been going to the gym at work and doing cardio machines, and the stationary bike at home. And Wii Fit. And I just picked up hula hooping! I got the Hoopnotica intro DVDs and a hula hoop, and I'm addicted. I've realized I really need a variety of exercise to stay interested, can you tell? :) I also do yoga DVDs and recently signed up for a pack of yoga classes with a Groupon.

ITA with you on the need for variety. I played the same Wii Fit games for 3 years - no wonder I was getting bored! Now I am also doing Zumba for the Wii and I've been thinking about buying Just Dance 3 for Wii as well. I rented it over Christmas break and really liked it but decided to buy Zumba instead because it got such rave reviews from everyone I know.

How are you liking the Zumba game? Do you like it as much as you hoped?

I'm liking Wii Fit, but the games do get old kind of fast.

I love that we're at the same place weight-wise for encouragement! :)

Becki - I do like the Zumba game, I work up a sweat in just 20 minutes and I love dancing so it's a good fit for me. My latest challenge lately is finding the time and energy to work out. Between work, grad school and mommy hood, I'm so exhausted come nightime! I've been trying to watch my eating to make up for the lack of exercise. Weighed myself the other day and I was down to 202 so guess that's good, just wish I could break through that 200 mark! Grr.

Christine - I hear ya. I was down to 201 but for some reason this past week it crept up, back at 205ish. I don't know if it's cycle-related or what, but it was really frustrating!
