Your starting weight: 166 in February 2010
Your weight now: I will come back to this as I haven't weighed myself in a while!
Your goal: 127 or less
Your height: 5'2.5"
How are you doing it? The past few days have been good! I am eating healthy food and have been cycling on my bike for 30-40 minutes plus using dumbbells and ankle weights. I also just changed my shoes which had been making me quite tired, so that helps!

Thanks! Yes, the winter isn't helping! I can't wait to take more walks outside! I hope it all works out for you job wise!!

I can't wait for the warmer weather too. When the weather is nice, we usually go for walks around the neighborhood after dinner. Yesterday and today it was unseasonably warm here, in the 60's, but crazy windy so we didn't walk.

This week I've been yo-yo'ing between 201-204, not great, but just trying to hang in there 8 more weeks and then I'll be done with grad school. I still need to checkout the online calorie tracker sites you guys suggested.

How's everyone else doing?

Hey ladies! Finally checking in with you again. I bought Active 2 for the Wii yesterday and was thinking of you, Christine! And man, it kicked my butt. It makes Wii Fit look like the easiest thing in the world.

Speaking of calorie counting sites, yeah, there are a lot of sites and apps these days. caloriecount.com is another one, I've been using that for 5 years( off and on.) It's how I lost 88 pounds!

WTT hasn't been on the forefront lately so I haven't been hanging out on this board; life is just so busy lately with work. I've been doing pretty well with weight loss in 2012; lost 12 pounds since Jan. 1 after I had gained some back last year, so I'm back to 198.5 today. I wavered for a few weeks in late Feb. but I'm back on track.

I discovered hoop dance in January and that's been lots of fun; it's teaching me coordination and encourages me to dance and enjoy movement. I've never been graceful. So I feel very proud of what I've been able to learn so far. I also have been counting calories and aiming for 1,250.

I'm also excited for spring and being outdoors! It's supposed to be very nice today so I definitely want to hoop outside.

Welcome back, Becki! You have been missed! I hear you about springtime. We had the winter blues big time with DH being in extreme pain and all, and I got depressed and gained weight without realizing it!

It's time to take my bike out!

Yup... I stress eat. The only way I have found to fight it is to have another activity for stress relief (right now for me that's hooping, it's been yoga before) and to count and track everything I eat, so I don't get into the "it doesn't matter, I need the comfort" mode of thinking. Once I get lost in that mode of thinking I'll be in it for weeks. I've found when I'm tracking calories, even if I do indulge it's still better if I own up to it and write down that I ate the 800-calorie ice cream sundae rather than be blissfully ignorant of my calorie totals.
