come up with some goals. lol.

I dont know if its realistic, but I definetely have some goals specifically directed at achieving before TTC.

Maybe we can keep track of them and update how we are doing.

For me before TTC I want to:

1. Loose 20 pounds I have gained 20 pounds since going to grad school and I want to leave those 20 pounds where I found them!!

2. Within that goal I want to exercise every day, even if its just walking.

3. I want to move. Right now DH and I are both in grad school full time and out living situation shows it!!! Very small. We have toyed with many ideas about where to move, from a few towns over to a few states over. FOr now we have settled on moving a few towns over for about 1 - 2 years...and then when we are both finished grad school we would make the "big move" but the little move is what I mean as far as doing it before we TTC.

4. I have to ween myself off coffee. I dont want to drink it when I am pg. This for me will be very difficult!! LOL.

I think thats it. anyone else have goals or is this boring? lol

Michelle, I think this is a great idea! In fact, if I knew how to do it, I think we should add another heading called Goals While We Wait...and we could each post our goals under there, and then update it when we have met one, or need to talk about one. That way we have it in writing and can easily find them :D Great thread!!!

My goals:

~Lose the baby weight I gained with my first....I gained 60, and only have 7 more to go

~Lose an additional 3 pounds.

~Keep it off

~Have one car paid off, one student loan paid off

~Have our basement organized enough so it can be a play room (this one will take the longest, surprisngly :D)

I'm sure I'll think of more as the weeks go on :D

My goals:

1. To maintain my weight, and possible lose another 10 lbs (I'm not sure yet). This will include being active by walking 45 min. 6 days a week, being more aware of what I'm eating, and seeing that it's healthy by keeping a food journal, eating 5 servings of fruits and veggies and 2 servings of dairy, daily, taking a multivitamin daily, and drinking at least 64 oz water daily.

2. To have my baby weaned from his pacifier, to have him weaned from the breast and from babyfood, and on table foods and out of his high chair, and at least beginning potty training.

3. To have my oldest completely potty trained, though this may not be as attainable as I would like, but I would at least like to have him telling me when he needs to go when awake, pooping in the potty instead of in his underwear during his nap, and keeping his underwear clean and dry through his nap.

4. Again, this may not be attainable since we have been battling bad credit since before our marriage, thanks to dh's parents, but we would like to be in a house. Preferably 4 bedroom, 3 1/2 bathroom, but at least a 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bathroom. I'd like to move back to where I grew up. We lived there up until we moved to where we are now last year. I don't know if dh will go for it though, since he never seemed to care for it too much.

I'd also like to get rid of our old loaner oldsmobile and get another newer car that's a little more roomier than our Grand Am. But, I'd rather have the house first, and it's all going to depend on what happens with our credit.
