My hubby and I are waiting until May 2013. I am finishing an architecture degree and will be done at that time (age 24). I am having a very difficult time waiting, but I know it is the right decision. Just having hubby and I set a tentative date out there makes me feel a little better. For now, I just try to focus on enjoying married life ;-). Oh and we have two sweet bunnies that keep me busy in the meantime.

Hi. I'm new to this board. I was on the ttc board in 2008 and after 13 months got pregnant with DD. And now the "timeline" I set for myself is somewhat in sight. But as life us crazy and things are always changing so I know ttc is far from DH's mind. But that's why I'm here cause I'm WTT. :) DH: 33 Me (Cat): 31 1 DD 3 years old 2 fur babies: a old pitbul kaya and and older cat kitty TTC date: sometime after we take DD to Disney world next summer. She will be 4 and starting school. Why are you WTT: Both DH and I may have job changes so it's all up in the air really. Plus it took me SO long to convince DH to get pregnant the first time. He's the kind of guy who over thinks everything and wants it to be the right time. So I figure I will start dropping hints here and there. Cast the lure and see what I get back.lol.

Honestly, I'm just now starting to explore the idea of having a baby as I never really thought I wanted to be a parent until very recently. But I should note that I'm definitely still very much on the fence! I'm 35 and DH is 36. No kids (or previous marriages) for either of us. We're just both late bloomers! We earned our Master's degrees, became established in our careers, and THEN got married...and only very recently has the idea of having a baby been crossing my mind...so if we do go for it, I'll already be an 'older mom' right out of the gate! And honestly, though I'm 35 now, 37 or 38 is more my target age for maybe TTC. And we both agree that a singleton would be our ideal. I like the flexibility that may come with us outnumbering the kid! : ) Excited to be here...and excited to continue to wait and explore my feelings more. : )

P.S.- How could I forget to mention our sweet furbaby! We are already proud parents to a precious pup, whom is very much responsible for bringing out the maternal side I didn't even know I had. : )

Hi Cat! Welcome to the board! Sorry for the late welcome!

Xavery: We are late bloomers in a sense as well as DH is in his 40's and I thought I'd be a mom in my 20's!

Steph and Trevor
22 and 24
Nope =,(
Yes, I have the cutest cat ever who has been a surrogate baby. She lets me cradle her like a new born, sleeps on my chest, is good with baths (actually makes it fun!), and talks as much as a newborn (lol!!)
HOPEFULLY 12/14
We are waiting until we can afford to have our own place, have enough of a safety net to afford a baby, and adjust to married life.
