Do you enjoy handing out candy to your neighborhood kids?  Will your grandkids come over to show off their costumes?

Halloween is one of my favourite times of the year & in the past I have decorated, set up spooky music & dressed up to shell out. But we moved 2 yrs ago & there are no kids out here in the country so other than a little pumpkin person filled with candy, I have done nothing. I have gone into my DD's to see my grandson the last 2 yrs but think we will skip it this yr. It's almost a 3 hr trip each way & he isn't big on strangers so likely won't go more than 2 or 3 houses. He was all excited last yr & was going to do 10 house but quit after 2. He was 5 then so old enough to want the candy but his Dad tends to take the easy way out & just come home rather than encourage & walk with him to the door. My grandson is the type of child that has to do things several times before he gains his confidence. I will get lots of pictures from DD. They also have a party to attend & they will be Luke (SIL), Princess L (DD), DV (DGS) & Yoda (DGD who is 5 mths). Dee
