Well I certainly wouldn't be a happy camper either! Wow, you must've done a number on that hand and I'm so sorry about everything that is happening to you now....every two-yr. headache? What's up w/that? I hope you can still make that cruise. It's good your girls are still at home to help you. Is your car a stick shift? Sorry, I know you can't type too much and here I am, asking all these ?'s...Just know that I feel for you and hope you don't get too depressed... you don't need that on top of it all now do you? Don't worry about answering me, I'll understand. ((((Hugs))))

Kathy...this too will pass..I think that we all get to a point where we just have to vent...sometimes it helps to get it all out. I hope that you heal quickly and try not to worry about your sister.

Kathy, this is a time to think about you. It will take time but you will get your hand function back. It may also be a good time to shop around for someone reasonable to do your lawn. Planting flowers is one thing, grass cutting is another. KWIM?

Just relax, if you want book suggestions I have read some really good ones lately. Firefly lane & The Winter garden by Kristen Hannah are really good as are all her books. Put your feet up & relax, do your therapy & just have fun w/the baby. before you know it you'll be better & better.

I have been doing research for Niks giant science poroject, the poor kid has so many projects all due next week in different subjects she literally has no time because the teachers are still giving homework & tests along w/these projects. Three really big ones due next friday. Joanns & AC Moore must love me. So I've been on the puter but not on it for me. It shut down on me 3 times yesterday & last night so we're off to buy a new computer this weekend. I really don't want to do this but her teachers have all said there are no excuses, no computer crashes, no printers dying etc. They will get a 0. I don't think these teachers live in the real world. Did I mention the expense of all the ink for the printer & the paper?

So thats where I have been this week so I missed Colleens post & yours, sorry.

Kathy, Nik did all the work for one project, Did her homework every night & studied for tests. I found the natural castrophies, printed out what she needed & the pics. She will write it up & put it all in a scrap book. There literally is not enough time in a 24 hr. day to get the amount of work done these teachers have assigned. I also know after next week the only projects she will have is book projects for ELA. Nothing new there, Every parent I spoke w/is angry & their kids are stressed to the limit so we're all helping in one way or another so the projects get done & the kids have time to do the nightly homework & study for the tests they're getting. It will let up after next week. Its state testing after next week & then they'll go back to normal stuff.

I wonder how many parents are going to the P over this work load, I'll find out next week when I have the 1st meeting w/the advisory council I'm on.

Dee.......I just watched a rerun episode of "Everybody Loves Raymond" (probably the 10th time I've seen it) about this very subject.
