We're in the 3rd. week of school & I'm sick of homework dominating our lives. All the summer work wasn't bad enough & she still has the worst of the summer to turn in yet. That got extended due to lack of natural castrophies between June 25th & Aug. 30th. So the teacher gave an extension to October 1st & has included historical castrophies w/it. It was only current during those dates.

Kathy, I'm frustrated at all the work all hese kids are getting. They never get a break. Nik is doing very well, all A's but she works at it. I imagine every kid in that school that has good grades work for it. I have also been told that my dd has no problems keeping up w/the class.
It would be nice to just have some free time & be a teen for a change. These kids didn't even get that during the summer.
