We cooked in the new kitchen even though we don't have counter tops or running water. The counter top is to be here next week, at that time we will then hook up the faucet. I do have a working dishwasher, stove and fridge. YDD had to bake for school last night. I have started putting things back into the cabinets so by time the counter top comes I should be ready to go on the Christmas baking.

The hardest part is putting everything back in the new cabinets. We have to decide what goes where now. I can't put anything that goes on the top shelf or drawer where there is counter top is going. I'm not going to have my bakers rack so where do we put the bread. I did decide that the cutting boards go in the drawer that is only 1" deep. But not the black one yet as that is over the drawer by the stove so we have some place to sit a spoon or what ever when cooking.

We also found out why the kitchen floor was so cold there is a hole in the house....ok the bottom of the bay is gone and the side of the house that was behind the deck is rotted out all the way through. DH tore down the deck yesterday and filled the hole with insulation he will be rebuilding the wall and bottom of the deck tomorrow if the weather lets him do it. We had rain and sleet today and may get snow tonight.
