Ours was on the fritz all day long. I called the cable company and asked for an estimated repair time. First, they had no clue it was out. When the tech figured it out he said maybe tomorrow!

Nope I said. I think you can get someone out today.LOL They did, it's fixed. *whew*

Ugh, how frustrating! It's one thing to be without one, but to lose all three would be very irritating!

You are lucky, we have been having problems with our cable since May. DH finally called the middle of June to get someone to come out. He waited cause he was playing around hooking up another tv & thought he did something. Cable guy came & said something is wrong outside the house with the connection as it apparently ends at the first house on the street so we are getting a weak signal all of a sudden. We live out in the country & are the final house on a dead end. He said they would have someone come out but it would take a week or two because of a big job with the school board. DH called the beginning of July & was told expert was on vacation for 2 wks but they would give us 1/2 mth for free until he came back. His return date came & went with no improvement so I made DH call again this week - he hates doing this but if I call, then I will just cancel the cable & he will freak as he is the tv watcher not me.

Well, it took them 24 hrs to return his call. This time they said it may be a couple of mths before they can get to us due to the school board job but they are giving him all these extra channels. So he is happy. Personality, I think it's time to find another alternative but there isn't a lot of choice where we live.

The reception varies. Sometimes there is no problem & other times we can see the channel but with a lot of snow kinda like back in the 60s when we used rabit ears.

OMG..I'd be camping out on the cable companys' door step.LOL We are such couch taters and our son loves his cable. Because of the autism he has a certain "schedule" during the day when he plays video games, watches his wrestling dvds and then his television shows. He always watches our local news at noon and 6pm. He likes the old classic movies and surfs the music channels. He listens to everything from blues, jazz, country and oldies.

He'll endure some interruption of services, but you can tell he misses it.

I hate to admit that I was less than polite when they gave me a repair date I didn't like.LOL
