I'm sitting in a hospital room with my 16yr old she has had a migraine for about 2 weeks now with no relief with any of the meds. Not how I want to spend my bday but maybe what they try tomorrow will help. they are running test to make sure it's just a migraine. Going on 3 days with little sleep due to the meds making her sick as can be. She gets some sleep but not me. well have to help her shower....will update when I can

I don't have any issue with my age of 46,I have earned every gray hair I have to. Home made pizza and cake when we get out of here.
I have no experience with migranes.

So sorry you've had to spend your birthday in the hospital, but sure hope your dd is feeling better soon and they find out the reasons.
My niece also suffered with migraines that lasted that long, and after trials and tests (also was hospitalized), found they were triggered by certain foods she ate (like Colleen was saying).

How are things going Squeak? How is your dd? Any news?
We are out of that place and she still has the headache and not any better. the test are done and they did find a spot in her one sinse cavity and it's in the bony area they said repeat test in 6 months. I'm going tocontact my old ENT and askhim to review the test for me and tell me what he things. I trust this me with my life as he helped me find the help I needed or I would be blind today.

I wanted to update all of you....she still has her headache and it's day 20. I just found her old Ped. and will be calling him tomorrow. I don't think he will turn us down in looking at her scan. He not only is a Ped he does Pediatric cancer, & pediatric brain tumor.
We just learned that the Dr that saw her didn't tell us about the one spot they saw.....it's in the area we were most worried about.
