The apt. they really wanted did not come thru for them after they paid twice for the application process, once for T's name and another for hers. You'd think they'd get a "married" one price but no, they had to check out both names. So anyway they found another apt. that is lower in price and she's a packing away! I'm watching the baby while she goes back and forth and T's in school.

First day of college started today....seems kinda late to me but I guess those colleges can do what they want eh? I hope wifey enjoys getting up and driving T to the ferry and hauling the baby w/'em every single day like I've been doing. (w/out the baby of course) Do I sound bitter? I really don't mean to. (this time lol) I'm gonna enjoy the non interrupted sleep.

I really don't think she wanted to leave, just for the financial reasons, but T is soooo excited about his first moving out experience, that he couldn't be talked out of it. I do recall my time at age 18 when I moved outta my parents house. A liberating experience for sure. But I was alone and after a while, the fun-ness wore out and I didn't spend much time there. Ended up moving into a duplex close to my parents' haha.

So I've emailed my sis and left a msg on their home phone. She's in DC and bil is probably outside doing something as usual so I haven't heard back from either one yet. The wife thinks that they'll allow me to stay and just eat up the other half of the rent so that this house won't be left empty and they're paying full price. I'm not so sure. But w/the housing market the way it is, she just may be right. They want to have their AZ time and not worry about things here I suppose.

My head is spinning. I did NOT think they would go thru with it and/or certainly not this soon.

Do they have ANY idea the good deal they've been getting? Hello? That girl is going to find it a lot harder to take care of a baby when she doesn't have you to just leave him with.

And who has been doing all the meal preparation at your house? Is she also going to have to start cooking? Grocery shopping with a baby in tow?

The real world. hhmmm, I wonder how they'll like it.

It WAS her doing the cooking until about a month ago she informed me she no longer was interested in cooking anymore. When she first came, she probably wanted to show T what a good cook she was and she basically took over the kitchen. The only prob I had w/that was she leans more on the side of Mexican food (being from so. CA I reckon)and I got tired of it, plus they like their food hot hot hot. She got T to like hotness. So everything she was cooking got some jalepeno thrown into it, whether it was Mexican or not.

She shops all the time w/the baby so that's no prob for her. But I DO know she's gonna dislike getting up early w/the baby to take T to the ferry, beings as how she has to get up during the night w/baby as he doesn't sleep thru the night yet. She had it made w/me doing that driving in the am. Live and learn, that's all I gots to say!

Uh oh.....I think they are both in for a rude awakening, financially and otherwise.
