Got home about midnight.
I hit the enter key to start a new paragraph, it didn't respond, i did it again and it posted (hummm)
I'm going to take my laptop, hoping I get some connection someplace.
Oh my, when it rains, it pours.
WOW you have a lot going on I'm glade that they are having you gown up since Mom has MERSA but I can tell you that isn't the only thing you should be doing and not all Dr's ect have you do it but when I had that they gave us an antibiotic cream that everyone in the house was to use and we had to use a cotton swab and put it in our nose for 10 day seven had to do it to DGS and he was only a few weeks old. We also had to washwith a special soap for the 10 days to kill it if we had any on our body. This is one nasty bug and we all can have Staph and it like to live in our nose and on our body.
Since you are talking about your sister needing surgery you need to make sure that the surgeon knows Mom has/had this and see if there is anything he want you both to do before you have the surgery if you are a match.
Kathy, it wasn't easy being at the hospital all day & then going to ds's house to handle the house in Maine & then pack & sell it. I think you know because you had be some nights on the phone w/you. I thank you again for being there for me.
Take 1 day at a time, don't look at next week or next month, if you do tell yourself it will be better. About gowning up, both of those are very serious & if you catch either one be aware at any time you can give it to your dgd's & your gdgd. Take precautions seriously please. I'm so thankful I never had to deal w/that in all those months.
Your a very brave lady to be willing to give 1 of your kidneys to your sister, I admire you for that, I would love to have your strenght & be that brave.
Kathy I hope that all goes well.
