The house is a 2 story colonial, its all we could find in our price range & the ranch houses were all 2 small. The unpacking is coming horribly because I have no help & the boxes are in the garage piled 3 high. Can anyone say stupid ss. He helped 1 night & we're trying to get the rest done w/no luck, coroporation or help. Its beginning to overwhelm me but I also have decided God help the son who ever in this lifetime needs anything from me except for younger ds.

As for ds whose house I just moved out of he doesn't care & plans on starting to remodel asap, w/what mony I just don't know, most likely what he owes us. Nik's bio helped 1 night & we haven't seen him since because he can't move things on my timetable. I told dh he had best remind him I didn't tell him that when he asked me to take Nik when she was born.

Dh is beginning I think to feel better. Having to go to the hospital right after moving & then days in a row after that wasn't what we were expecting but its at least better then last yr. at this time.

Nik is still happy in school. She has to take the bus at 6:10AM & to say the least I'm exhausted. Once the packing is done & we're straightened out it won't be so bad. She is happy w/school & I pray it stays this way. The school gives every kid a set of books for home because they don't think they should be carrying heavy books back & forth. I think that may give everyone an idea of what the school is like.

We'll get straightened out sooner or later & as I told dh after this last yr. my memory is going to be very long for ds & ss who have done nothing to help me & Nik at all. Dil sais she has issues w/me, most likely something I

Just be careful running in and out of the garage - they get awfully cold so don't get a chill or leave the inside garage door open too long (I feel the draft right away when the door is open).

As far as Nik and biodad, she has company.

I remember having our things in the garage stacked 3 high. We lived that way for almost a yr, but the house we moved into was full of MIL's stuff. We are down to about 20 boxes in the garage now and I plan to have that cleaned out by spring.

Didn't you say that one of the boys has been coming by to help out with some things? If so could ou ask him to spend one evening helping you get the garage so that you can do it the rest of the way yourself? I know that could mean living with boxes in rooms of the house but that could be helpful in so many ways. If you marked the boxes just start moving as many with his help as you can into the rooms marked on the boxes. I'm sure if you tell him that them being stacked 3 high makes it to hard to do it on your own he would spend a few hours helping you get them moved around.

After 3yrs I'm just about unpacked. What is left are things that I need to sort through and pick out what I can't live without or I need to repack for the girls. Then I will sell off the rest. Most of what is left is things that belonged to my mom and grandma. The other are things that the kids have saved over their lives.
