We lost our Molly dog today.

We'd taken her to the emergency hospital a few days ago hoping it was nothing serious. Sadly, we were wrong. Between the pain meds, anti-biotics and anti-inflammatories she just got worse and worse. She'd given up eating, drinking, walking...it was just awful. She was suffering so and we felt it cruel to keep her hanging on just because we couldn't let go. We'll miss her terribly. She was wonderful and we are brokenhearted.

Wow...that brought tears to my eyes! Molly was only 6 years old. We have no idea what happened. She was put on pain killers..anti-inflammatory meds and an antibiotic. She got to a point where she hardly recognized us or didn't hear us. It was just to much. We will miss her horribly. Thanks for asking Dee.

I'm so sorry, Sharon. I know how hard it is to say goodbye to a special pet. How old was Molly? Did the vet know what was wrong?
A friend gave me the Rainbow Bridge poem when I had to say goodbye to my first dog. I read it again when we had to let our 2nd & 3rd dogs go to sleep to end their pain too. It helped me, hope it helps you.
