I'm freezing this morning. It's hovering in the upper 40s at our house. My sister lives in Wisconsin and she's got temps in the 30s!!BRRRR.

On a bright note, this does make it feel more like Fall and the holiday season.

Hi Ed, welcome to the Grandparents board :smileyhappy: How many grandkids do you have?

I hope you don't mind me threadjacking to say that I'd love to see you share your opinions on some of our debate boards. I ran across this response and thought that you would have a lot to say when it comes to politics and current news stories:

We have snow here in the mountains of western NC, but in recent years not enough for our needing a snow blower. It seems our snowfall totals have dwindled since we purchased a generator. It figures.

When I was a kid the closest place was California Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm.LOL I grew up in southwest AZ. I've been to Disneyland...Knotts and Universal Studios all in CA. To give you an idea of how long it's been...one of the main attractions at Universal Studios were the Cylons from the original Battlestar Galactica!!

When I was a kiddo, we used to go to Opry Land, which is now a huge shopping mall/outlet called Opry Mills (next to the Opry Land Hotel). We went to Gatlinburg this summer for a few days.

I've never been to Dollywood. When we first moved to the Smokeys we visited the park and it was still called Silver Dollar City. It was nothing compared to what it's become now.

Yes, it is the amusement park. We have gone the last few years around the same time. Both girls are tall enough now that they both will be able to ride together. I haven't been to Dollywood in a long time! Dollywood is closer to me than Kings Island. Small World!

Good morning Judy. I love the Fall weather as well and I love football. I looked up Kings Island and if you're talking about the amusement park it looks awesome. The closest thing we have here is Dollywood.LOL

It was 45 this morning on my way into work and I love it! It is warming up to the low 80's this afternoon though. I love fall and temps in the 60's is perfect for me (Football weather). We are taking the kiddos to Kings Island this weekend and the weathers will be in the mid 70's - love!!!
