So my husband and I have had 50-50 custody for a few years of his twin boys. My daughter (7 yrs old) gets to be an only child every other week. Then when its time for her 12 yr old bros to come the fighting is driving me nuts and has fr years. I think is mostly because of everybody getting readjusted...? I mean they have normal sibling issues but I just dont know.... Its usually me at home dh works a lot. Any advice is appreciated :smileyhappy: I end up in a freand\nzy

I have twin boys who are 11, and think that the fighting is probably typical for the age. I know it's driving me up the wall lately, especially since they aren't back in school yet! When mine start to get out of control, I've found that the best action is to separate them and if it continues then the lose privileges. I've noticed that the fighting also tends to get worse when they are using electronics to much, so I usually take it as a sign that they need to get outside and run off some energy. Do either of them do any sports?

I'm going to say after a few years of this it's not adjustment, but more typical!

My SD and bio kids often have the odd arguement over silly things when my SD is here, but it's nothing out of the ordinary for children their age.

I guess it depends on what they are arguing about?  Is it ALL the time or just on and off?
