Expecting any family drama this weekend?

Hope it was great for everyone!. Mine has been a very nice day with siblings, their families, and my children...wonderful! Youngest ss is here from the Army, gets along with everyone,but never really connects with anyone..we are used to this, and are friendly,but expect no more. I asked ss to open 3 cans and he said that I "roped him in" to help. Really? My kids helped all morning (all are over 18). DH was right there, heard this, and said nothing when ss sat back down to watch tv, and never offered anything more. DH "protects" him, always has, so he is a "hotel guest of life". The real drama comes from my dh, who has his "pout on", and ignored me all day...who know why, and frankly, who cares? maybe because I made his baby do "work"? I have done this for 8 years now, and it no longer means anything to me; he can pout away. Sadly, though, when u close down So much of your emotions, it's hard to keep it All from flowing away..and it has. Life is still Very good for me; great children, close siblings and love my job. All good. Gotta stay on the sunny side of the street..and I do! :) Sincerely, PepperJ7
