Another adventure for ds!

My dad is taking him from mid-June to mid-July to Europe again! He did this a few years ago. Ds loved living with him in Latvia. He then will come home, go to Boy Scout camp before High School football pre-season starts! Sounds like a heck of a summer to me!!

That sounds like a fun trip! How old is your son? Will the trip be just him and your dad? That would be a great bonding experience for them. I noticed your post at the bottom says that you have two kids. Will the other feel left out? I'm pretty sure at least one of mine would be upset if one got to go while they didn't.
He is 14, soon to be 15. My dad lives there part of the year. He took my oldest twice and this will be ds second trip.

Neat! I remember going on a field trip somewhere (I don't remember where!!) and getting to tap the trees for syrup. We each got to take home a small bottle of maple syrup. I should check into that around here. It seems like something both kids would really enjoy.
