My kids are teens and have tried EVERYTHING under the sun!! Right now, ds in 8th grade in in band, jazz band with trombone, starting up guitar, confirmation class and youth group at church, writing club at school. Right now he plays hockey and has pre-season lacrosse, he did football in the fall. He is also active in scouts! He has taken fencing, climbing, tennis, theater, swimming, gymnastics, art classes, martial arts, choir, various sports classes and such Dd everything the same except no guitar and she played flute in band. She played 4 year of tennis in high school and is starting her 3 year of lacrosse in high school. She played hockey with the boys. We all took tae kwon do as a family, it was great, until our insturctor left. She has been recognized for her photography by the high school district. Actually both kids have won art awards. She is also in 6 clubs at school! Both are honor students, dd securing a nice scholarship, and I firmly believe that the more stuff that kids are exposed to, the better they will do!!
