How is your week going?

Our week is going OK, but it definitely could be better.  Ian started school yesterday.  His summer math workbook is due tomorrow, and he's still got 7 pages left.  I'm not looking forward to tonight at all.  We'd started out the summer with the expectation that he would do 2 pages each night, but after about a week he started fighting me on it and I slacked off (big mistake).  7 pages isn't too bad, though.  He can knock that out pretty fast, but it's going to depend on his mood.

The radiator in DH's car blew, so now we're looking at about $500 to replace that (part only, he will do the work himself).  The dog decided to pee on my bamboo floors last night, so I'm trying desperately to make sure it's all cleaned up with no lingering smells.  I'm so angry about that.  Not once did that dog try to get us up to let him out, and I slept very lightly last night so I know I would have heard him.  Then, he ran away from me this morning so I was the crazy neighbor lady screaming for the dumb dog.

How is your week so far?

So far so good. I work M, Tues and Fri this week. Ds has football all week and his first game on Saturday. He loves High School ball, even more than the peewee leagues. Dd called, she is loving college.

@ Jen... I can't believe your DS has summer homework! I think they should take a vote on that :smileywink:

My week is going well, exhausting but good. I need to make myself go to sleep early, too many nights with not enough sleep and waking up early has caught up with me! Other than that everything is great, DH coached DS' hockey practice last night and they both were amazing. DH's job is going unbelievably well. He is getting raises on top of raises... He has grown a small company exponentially and we are finally in a comfortable place, financially. We will be buying a home closer to the city- DH's job, stores, family, and old friends. I can't wait! I started homeschooling DD for Pre-k this year because we will be moving and I wasn't pleased with the options near us. It's going awesome, and we are both enjoying the time together. I have been thinking about having baby #4 very seriously but want to wait until we are settled in our new home. DH and I talked about trying in a couple of years but I don't want to wait that long. I'm going to start talking to DH about it tonight. I'm thinking around the time of our next anniversary (in February) would be great- we are planning a trip to the Carribbean and it would be perfect to start trying then! Our kids are amazing, we have the money and love to share. I've always wanted a big family :smileyhappy:

Hope everyone's week is good and not too hectic from school starting!

Yes, the summer homework is a thorn in his side each summer. It's an entire math workbook with about 80 sheets plus two book report assignments. :smileyfrustrated:

That's great news about your DH doing so well with work! Have you been to the Caribbean before? DH and I went to St. Thomas several years ago, and it was really nice.

I'm so glad your DD is enjoying school. How does she like her roommate?
