With medium-sized families, we have a big selection of vehicles that could fit our family, both literally and figuratively.  What type of vehicle do you have?

We have three kids, a nanny, and a dog, and occasionally students, so we now have a twelve-passenger van in our driveway.  It's old (a '90) but it still runs well.  DH is going to replace the transmission at some point, repaint it, and put Rhino liner on the bottom portion.  We also have a '97 Pathfinder for family-only driving, as it only seats five.

We had a van. We have a sedans now. It seats 5. It will hold 2 lacrosse goalie bags or 2 hockey bags in the trunk!

Fitting hockey bags is a must in our family, too.  DH plays hockey and Monkey will start in the fall.  Who in your family are the hockey players?

Both my kids. Dd doesn't play now at college but did in high school. Ds plays hockey, lacrosse and football. Only stinky sports for him. Dd rides horses and plays lax, so her stuff still stinks.

Oh, yeah, horse stuff definitely stinks.  I rode up until I had kids -- then it was out of the budget.  :)  I remember when I was little not wanting to wash my hands after I rode because they smelled like horses.  Does your DD compete at all, or just ride for pleasure?
