I know pretty much all TOK families make use of hand me downs.
All our boys pretty much like the same things so we haven't had that problem with them. And can I say Lisa that your picture is adorable!! And Rachel has grown so much. There aren't alot of us on here anymore but if you want to still talk my email is email@example.com!Lisa
That's not really an issue for me now, as the boys are 4 and 1 (and the 1-year-old doesn't much care) but these are definitely good ideas to keep in mind for a few years from now!
I wish there was an easy solution for when the hand me down-er and hand me down-ee are different body types! My younger nephew couldn't use any of my son's hand me downs because his shoulders were much broader than Ian's. Now my daughter has a similar problem, we can't accept alot of hand me downs that are offered because they are cut wrong for her :(
I love that idea of having them pick things out together!
