Do you have certain days for certain things, or do you simply do laundry every day?
I aim to do laundry 4 days a week and I average 15 loads a week.

Do you have laundry helpers, older kids who do their own laundry, or do you consider the laundry room your private domain?

I do not let others touch my w/d. But I do have everyone help. My dh is supposed to put away his things, as are the kids. The kids are also in charge of folding their own socks, PJs, and underwear.

How do you deal with putting away clothes? Do the kids help? Do you have bins, put things in people's rooms, put everything away for everyone?
I fold/hang for myself, my dh, and the little ones (the under 7 ones). The older kids hang the stuff that should be hung (I lay it out neatly in piles as I take it out of the dryer), and all kids 3 and up are expected to help fold PJs, socks, and underwear), we all work on carrying the stuff up stairs and putting it away.

Tell us your best laundry tips!

This is my best laundry tip:
Give each child a bin for dirty socks. Before laundering the socks, put them in a mesh bag with a zipper. That way they wash and dry, but stay together and each child can fold their socks with ease.
