Thank you so much!!! I have read a lot about DTD. We are also staying off site. I felt bad when we started looking into it. I felt like my kids would be missing something by not staying on site. Now I am ok with it. I am reading a lot about how it is not the same if you dont stay on site. I am finding out Disney is not Large family friendly. The room I am getting off site with breakfast would cost me over $12k without breakfast. I want my family in one room.

I was trying to remember where you stay, Lisa. I know I looked it up before when you told me, but I've since forgotten and cannot find the link b/c I forget the name of the place. Thank You!

We have gone many times. We like to stay in a suite not on Disney property. It is much more affordable and has a kitchen which saves on eating out.

I'd like to take the kids to FL. Over the years we've started to plan a trip, but then had to cancel.

Many of the TOK mamas have taken their families to FL. There used to be a mama on the board who owned a beauttiful rental home in Orlando. I cannot tell you how much over the years I wish she were still on the board. I have one TOK mama in mind who I am going to message on FB and ask her to come post her best TOK FL advice.

Our plan is to rent a house with a pool, which will be cheaper than staying at a hotel. It also gives us the option of not going to a theme park every day.

Another things I've been looking into is the auto train. If you book 6 months in advance it is very reasonable and it gives you your own vehicle while down there, which for our family of 10 is key.

Please share anything you find, b/c I am trying to plan a trip too! :)

Hugs,
