Question about pans/pots

I was wondering which pan is your favorite or gets the most use.  I'm asking because I am finding that as my kids grow they are eating more and the food is starting to spill out of the pan I currently use.  For example, I brown some ground beef then add spaghetti sauce and it was fine in my 10 or 12" skillet.  Now I need to use two cans (I have 2 eaters plus both of us - so not that many right now, but planning on more), and the last time the sauce spilled out over onto my stove.  It's kind of annoying, and I'd like to not use two pans, just get one larger one.  Plus I have other things on the stove and I don't have lots of room for too many pans.  Anyway, I was wondering if there is a pan you like that you can recommend.  I found a 5 1/2 qt Cuisinart saute pan on Amazon recently, and I thought that might be a good one.  Thanks for advice!  I'm also looking for a stainless steel pan (not teflon) to last through the years, and I do cook a bunch and from scratch most days (better and cheaper for us, I've found).  Thanks again -

last year for christmas my mom got me a set of pans and pots from sams club- stainless steel, they were Wolfgang Puck, too! The skillet is huge, you can easily make two pounds of meat, add two jars of sauce, and noodles without a mess. and they are super easy to clean. also, they are healthier to use, no teflon flakes in our food! they were like $200, but so worth it, I think (well, it wasn't my money, but now that I've used them I would pay this amount for them in a heartbeat)
oh- and the handles are riveted on, so there are no handles coming loose, they are on for life.
good luck!
