Hello all,

I am a TOK wanna be with 3 hoping to start TTC within the next 2 months...anyway I am staying at home with the children this summer and need some advice about having my own at home daycare. Meals games etc...the children I am caring for will all be school age ( 7-9).

I know several of you do at home childcare and was hoping you could lend some advice.

Any advice is much appreciated!

Thanks,

Julie

I like to sign my kids up for the reading program at the library. They get small prizes based on how much reading they do. Our library also has a kids program with crafts, stories, movies, puppet shows.... We also go to the local water park occasionally. I work there part time, so I can get them in free, or that would get a little expensive though. If the weather is nice, you gould go to the park and play soccer or frisbe or something like that. If you wanted to stay closer to home, water baloon fights are always a big hit. (you could cheat and get a big water gun. lol) My sister also has a slip and slide that is a big hit. Good luck!!!
