Victoria went back to school on Monday so I guess that's the end of Summer.
We move M@ to college today...no other activities there today for parents but there's a picnic then tomorrow (so I'm off today but then working tomorrow and then off again Friday) - they have convocation and meetings with the colleges within the U Friday, as well as lots of other little meetings - we'll see them for tomorrow's picnic, then Fri through lunch, and a 'goodbye' at 4pm Fri. But then he says he's coming home on weekends, so... We'll see. Kinda sad, though, knowing our home life will really never be the way it's been the last 18 years.
Oh, Sue! Maybe I'm just having an emtional day but you've got me all welled up. I don't even want to think about my baby turning 5 next month.
Moss, you and DD do so many things! You guys must never stay home on the weekends.
I'm going to see Eat Pray Love tonight with my mother's group. I've been scrapbooking a little at night. My allergies are here in full force. It stinks but I caught it early enough that I should be good in a few days.
I'm back again after a summer hiatus. I remember most of you all, but, just to reintroduce myself, I'm Sharon (36) with dh Eric (39) and ds Luke (6). I'm a sahm right now
(Hugs!!!) Small words of comfort, but I wish you and Matt a peaceful and smooth transition to college. I know it doesn't help much, but just think of what
If it makes you feel any better, I worked PT til M@ was 12. I enjoyed my at home time; first I worked 1/2 time, then moved up to 4 days/week (loved having Fridays off) as he got older, etc. As usual, it's YOUR life and do what's right for you; ignore the ignorant people who insist on how your life should go!
I've worked full-time since Victoria was 5 months old.
No, you're right,
