Rainy day here and I don't plan to do much. Do a little laundry, play online, read my book, maybe take a nap!

Dh starts his class tonight (MBA) so he'll be gone all evening.

not much planned today. Nathan told me that he made a friend at school. He wanted to go early so he could find him and walk to class together. That just made my day. He has his first evening of youth group tonight. Hoping for the best. Hope all have a great day.

We had school orientation night last night from 6:30-7:30. Got to drop stuff off in Brionna's homeroom and find out how they work the switching classrooms this year. Should be fun for them I think. Found out one of the girls that was supposed to be in Brionna's class (she wasn't too happy about it as she isn't a real nice girl) has moved or is moving so won't be there this year. Made Brionna happy. Brionna and her best friend and I and her mom walked around saying hi to all the teachers from the previous years then went and talked to the Librarian (very nice lady) for quite some time and then ended up talking forever to their music teacher who normally isn't so talkative. I didn't think she would quit talking so I finally said we better go find the girls as they had gone out to play on the playground and it was getting dark. We didn't leave until like 8:30!! Brionna's teacher from last year asked if I would again come in to her classroom this year and talk to her students about Monarch butterflies. I told her I would but it will be different doing it with a class where Brionna isn't there.

Beautiful day out here, yesterday was gloomy and we had light rain on and off. Today is sunny with a light breeze and 72 out. We took a walk down to the park with the dogs this morning. Must have been quite the sight....3 dogs, 2 two year olds in a wagon, a four year old, a 8 yr old, a 9 yr old, a 10 yr old, a 11 yr old and me!

Good day everyone. So far my day has been fairly interesting. When I was driving Paige to school this morning a small BMW was driving on the wrong side of the highway! She was going on and off the highway and into the median. I pulled over as far as I could and came to a stop figuring it would be less of an impact if she hit me parked than if I was moving. Thankfully I didn't get hit but further up the road she ended up hitting a parked State Trooper's vehicle! He had an 18 wheeler pulled over for an inspection and she ran right into the back of his car! After dropping off Paige at School I went back to see if there had a been an accident and gave a statement to the police about my seeing her driving on the wrong side of the road. I figure the lady was in her 60's and from the way she looked blowing past me she was not all there mentally, so my guess is some medical condition that made her loopy and loose control of her car. I'm just happy nobody (aside from her) got hurt, it would have been a mess if she hit someone head on coming from the opposite direction!

So after that exciting morning I went back and had my oil changed. Made some cabbage rolls with Granny and had lunch with my Honey. I'm really, really missing Paige while she's at school. It's tempting to home school her but I know she's doing well in her private school so I need to keep her there. :)

I weighed in and lost weight sitting right at 180, so I'm down 15 lbs since I started!

I think that's called a parade! ;-)

Good that the not-so-nice girl won't be around. Is Brionna's best friend in her class?
