Welcome to the
So far it's been a typical Monday!
Oh no, sorry Moss! I hope their day gets better. Travis and dh can get going like that sometims too, and it can get very frustrating.
Joining the gym sounds good!
I am gonna need it, thanks Moss! After a gorgeous weekend, today is a gloomy Monday here. And it's going to be a busy one for me, so coffee is definitely a must. :-)
This morning I need to do some laundry. Travis needs to practice his drums and I need him to review some sheet music and see if he still remembers how to read the notes. After lunch he has a hockey clinic; it meets Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday this week for a little over an hour. While he's there today I'm going to run to the library. It's too short of a time period to run all the way back home, so I'll need to find errands to run in the area or else just bring a book and read. Sitting and reading for an hour and a half sounds good to me.
After the hockey we will run immediately to his regular drum lesson, moved to an earlier time today and next Monday as well. After that it will be home for some dinner and then he has his first group percussion lesson with the band teacher this evening at the school (the reason why his regular drum lesson is moved). He has a group lesson Monday, Wednesday and Friday for half an hour, this week and next. I have a feeling that we will be told by the band teacher that he is not up to par on his bells or note reading, and once again that he should have taken piano lessons for 6 months! Have I mentioned how annoying and nitpicky I find this woman?
Just checked the weather. It sounds like it's supposed to be a fairly warm week for a change. If it's sunny maybe we can actually get in the pool sometime this week!
This morning I plan to catch up on my online world from e-mail to community.
This afternoon I will take Amy to the beach.
Well, I sort of agreed with her that between primary and secondary school would be the earliest I would contemplate pierced ears (aged
