Mitchell is 6 and he's a pretty restless sleeper. He ends up in all sorts of strange positions and rarely still under the covers.

Kian is 5 and he's restless but not to the point of having covers off and such.

He slept in our bed with us when we first moved here because our heater wasn't working. Let me tell ya, none of us got sleep that night from all the moving around that kid did lol

Sharing a bed with Amy is a recipe for getting no sleep at all or falling to sleep then her activity in the form of being struck by a flailing body part waking me!

Alayna is 5. Some nights she sleeps great and others she doesn't. She always kicks cover off her. She's done that since she was a baby. She cries out in her sleep and talks in her sleep some times. I think he legs ache at night. She never wants to get up in the mornings. Some mornings I try to wake her for about 15 minutes before she ever moves.

Has she started school yet? I know the mornings are my biggest challenge (Amy is heading into 5th grade)

No, she starts kindergarten the 24th and I know I'm going to have the hardest time getting her up.

Have you been practicing a morning routine? Is it a full or half day Kinder program?

Yes, I've been putting her to bed earlier and getting her up earlier. It is full day. I go to sign her up this week.

How are the morning routines going now? Have you actually begun trying it just the way you will do things when school is in session?
