I had a couple of friends over today which was nice. Studying at home can get lonely sometimes :)
Mitchell has been doing really well with his reading words after a shaky start earlier in the year. Today he got words 91-100 signed off out of the Oxford 100 top reading word list. He was so proud and so was I. So much in fact that we hopped in the car with neither of us remembering to bring his school bag so once we got home we had to head back to the school to go and get it.
This reading thing has been such a struggle though and now he is reading at the level that he needs to be by the end of the year, so that is just so wonderful!
Tomorrow morning my car is being serviced and in the evening the school is holding a meeting to advise people about the facilities at the new school. As a member of school council I need to help set up and direct people to their seats and such. Mitchell is going to go home from school with his friend B who has lovely parents so that's a bit of a milestone for us but he's pretty excited. He's never been to someone's house without us in the evening before.

Yesterday was a be productive day so today isn't!
You're right, it's been 19C for the last couple of days, and that's winter :) I don't think I could live in the UK for the weather.
Mitchell's still loving the taekwondo. He says he's going to do it until he is 50 :)
A cartwheel on the beam - that sounds scary! I'm not sure I could even watch that :)

Good morning! It's a chilly morning here, actually feels a bit like fall. Today is the last day before school starts so Travis and I are going to have some fun. We're going out to lunch (Olive Garden, his choice) and then playing mini-golf. Tonight we go to school to drop off his supplies and find out who is in his class.
Then back to school tomorrow! I can't believe this is his last year of elementary school. He's the oldest class at the school this year, I can't get over it. My baby! *sniff*
