There are the two posts with pictures of what I've been doing :P
I'm also trying to find a REALLY cheap hotel in The Dells for my birthday next month because some friends are coming from Nebraska and we want to go and see them since it's only 2 hours from us. They've got the tickets to the water parks so we're just sleeping someplace else.
Those darn holes have been keeping us busy though. It's back breaking work for sure.
Other than that we've just been playing in the yard and sprinkler with Gabe. He's SO tall now. I just wish his speech was coming a long a little better. I'm thinking in the fall we'll contact the school district and see if it's just me being overly worried or if he needs some speech therapy. I worry because we don't spend a lot of time with other kids about him hearing enough other people etc. He plays by himself really well though too which is a nice bonus ;)
Aww young love. It's always so intense huh?! And to think I was already dating DH at 18 and married at 19 (DH was 25 when we got married) that was 8 1/2 years ago already!!
Gabe is already holding hands with every little girl he meets at the playground. I'm going to be in BIG trouble ;)
I haven't checked in for a while *blush*. We had a nice 4th of July weekend. Spent a lot of time in the pool, watched some fireworks, went to a ball game. Then Travis was gone for 4 days. My brother and SIL took him, his cousin, and 6 of SIL's grandkids to Chicago. They went to Great America, Brookfield Zoo, and a water park. He had a really good time but he was pretty sick of the other kids after being with them non-stop. ;-) And now he's off at hockey camp for a week! So I am missing my boy *sniff*, but I know he's having a great time.
It's so hot and humid here. I've been staying in the air conditioning but am getting pretty stir crazy. Not looking forward to getting the electric bill, either! Been enjoying lots of delicious sweet corn and watermelon from our favorite farm stand. That's about it!
Wow, a girlfriend! I hope it works out okay once they both start school. Getting used to just being the two of you at home must be a big adjustment. (((Sue))) I don't know if you need a hug or not but I need one just thinking about it! ;-)
Mel-I bet that's going to be beautiful once it's done. I'll have to read your blog. I started one but only wrote 2 or 3 posts. I should get back to it.
Amy-I went to the Brookfield Zoo with my friends last Nov. We were in the area visiting friends. It was chilly and late in the day so we didn't see much of it. I'm thinking I'll get a Mother's knot. I just called the artist yesterday to see about an appointment.

Well, M@ now has a gf; she's 18 and will be going to the U of Chicago, so hopefully a great influence on him.
Sue, is this his first serious GF?
