Talk to his teacher. See if she or he has any insight to offer as well as some possible suggestions to help your son. What those kids are doing is a a form of bullying and the teacher and school needs to be made aware of it and help to stop it. It may be that your son needs to modify his interactions with the kids more but it is also means they need to be held accountable for want they are saying and doing.

Same advice I gave above:


Ask the teacher who might be a good fit and have a one on one playdate with some activites planned in case there is a gap in play.


What about boy scouts, sports, art classes? Things that all the kids have the same interests...


Role play on how to ask other kids to play, sit by them at lunch, etc -
