How about taking her to a child psychologist instead?

I am going to second the suggestion to talk to a child psychologist about this. I think he or she would be better able to help you come up with a solution that will help her get over whatever it is that is causing her to need to be in your room in order to sleep. I think they will also be able to help you understand where she is coming from and how you can help her. Maybe it will be tough love that works or maybe it will be patience on your part while she has a place to vent and let our her fears and frustrations.

Good luck and let us know how the appointment with the counselor.

Oh and sometimes you do care when your parents take things away but you are not going to let them know you care. This works especially if you are able to see that your parents are bugged by the fact that you don't seem to care that you lost x, y and z for a month. I don't know why but some how that makes up for the stuff you lost.
