Does your 9yr old fight you on showers?

Our daughter fights us on shower night! We like her to shower every other night. I don't think that's asking too much, but its like we are pulling teeth out when we ask her if its shower night! I just don't think she gets how important it is to be clean. She has an older sister who used to be this way, but she would take the shower when asked. Her 2 yr old brother has one almost ever night, and her older sister who is 13 has to take one every morning and has been for about 3 years now.

I need help... how do I get her to understand that its important to? How do I get her to be somewhat happy to shower?

Nope, Ian never argues about this, he never really argues about anything.

The argument tends to be over who goes first rather than if he needs to take one. It alternates nights which makes the argument easy to resolve -- we look at the calendar and if its odd he goes first. He has to take showers nightly due to allergies so it is part of his routine. If he did start fighting it I would move up the time he takes his shower so that there would be no tv until after his shower was taken.
