Sean got Skylanders from Santa last year and it's been a big hit with all of my boys. Skylanders Giants is on his list this year, and one of the others is asking for it for his 3DS. I scored both at 50% off on a Black Friday Amazon deal, once they are delivered I'll take back the ones I bought at Target on sale before Thanksgiving! I also picked up a bunch of the figures at ToysRUs, they had a huge collection. I don't want to have a repeat of last year where it was a huge hit and all of the stores were out of stock after Christmas.
Does anyone else have a kiddo that is into this game?

yup and I was so excited I scored the starter pack for the wii for $50 at best buy on line on black friday. He asked for that or a 3ds. He is getting the 3ds but when I saw the price though OMG I can get him both (DH had a $50 gift card for doing overtime this fall SCORE free gift and he will stoked!!!) I'm thinking he'd open that first and so he won't be expecting the 3ds. BUT MIL also got him the starter pack!!! WTF and I TOLD DH I was going to check on line friday and I even checked with him before I order so if he told his parents he should have called them. So now I have to wait for mine to ship and return it. Will probably get him figures. Only thing is if in laws give it on xmas eve like they ALWAYS do. He is going to know he got the 3ds but DH won't ask them to return it.
I need to find a storage thing for the figures. Right now they are lined up in front of the TV but my 4 year old likes to play with them...
though about that, but then when we use the ds when traveling about I have to worry about lugging the figures and lossing them (he ALWAYS leaves games behind!! luckily usually at my mom's or sisters but still).
To make room for the tree I took all the toys but the video games from the living room and plan on keeping it that way, so maybe after the holidays I will look for something to store them in
well good thing I got the one I got because in laws bought for the WRONG gaming system. We have wii they got for playstation but some how they are now giving him ours and we have to return theirs and get something else (DH idea insert eye roll) Now I have to stress to them they HAVE to give him it on xmas eve because we got him extra guys...I am really starting to get annoyed. Jeez does this holiday have to so much work. My mom "what do boys want" I tell her x, y and z..."ok" MIL oh well what about this, no I gave you a list. If you want to get them outdoor toys get them sleds and snow stuff not a riding thing that will collect dust until spring. Just stick to the list we did everything except draw a map of toys r us to tell you where to find...ok rant over, just happy I got the wii one because that could have been a HUGE disaster...
