I could use some ideas on how my youngest can have fun with water outside with his friends.  Do you have any good ideas?  He's getting bored with the stuff we currently have and I don't want to spend money to buy new water toys.  We have a slip-n-slide and a different water toy.

waterballoons. They aren't that expensive. Granted use it once and its done but my kids love waterballon fights. Water guns too. Usually get the cheap ones at the dollar store.

We also have spray parks. Some charge but I avoid those. I do recomend staying away on a really HOT day because EVERYONE will be there.

They love water balloons but I HATE the mess! A parent had given the boys some bio-degradable ones, but they have to be in your grass and not something I want all over. We have a free spray park but don't go a lot. It gets way too crowded like you said. What are your boys up to this summer?

Little one is still in day care and the oldest is in summer camp. I'm not getting any time off of work until the older ones goes back to school but they both get a week with daddy and a week with grandma so going to schedule some group outings for the week with dad so they aren't in all week playing the wii,

Do you have a trampoline by chance? Out of boredom one day, I hooked up our garden hose up to a sprinkler and sprayed the kids while they were on the trampoline. They LOVED it. I have no idea why, lol. They had gotten bored of both the trampoline and our sprinkler but for some reason, the combination of the two together was great fun.

We don't have the room for a trampoline :( That sounds like a lot of fun though! It's been too chilly out the past week or so, they've been doing some more inside activities. Luckily I had some crafts stashed away.

You've got me thinking now, though! Maybe I should set up a sprinkler under the basketball hoop....that could be fun?
