How is the week looking?

Any one else stressing about the economy? I am trying not to think about it or pay too much attention to what is going on on wall street because a)I can't do anything about it and b)we have a number of years before we are evening going to be thinking about retirement so we are not looking for income from our investments at this time.

Like I said earlier I am trying not to even think about it but dh keeps asking me stuff about how our various accounts are doing. Then he'll mention how his buddy up in SF lost $34K in one of his funds. Shut Up!

How was your turkey dinner?

My week is going to be busy but hopefully fun.

Monday: Spent the morning working on the Walk-A-Thon poster with my son's class. We took their pictures and they drew and colored their own jester hats that are going to go on top of their pictures. It is going to look cute. All their hats were great and you could see their personalities not only in what type of hat they drew but how they decorated it. Then in the afternoon, Lindsay had a birthday party to go to. Tonight its homework, sax practice, dinner, baths and bed.

Tuesday: I'll be helping the Kindergarteners with their poster. They are going to decorate shoe boxes as floats and we will attached it using zip ties to the poster and fence it hangs on. Again someone else is going to be taking the photos and thus printing them out. Wahoo! That is the part I hate.

Wednesday and Thursday are class room volunteer days and I'm helping stuff goody bags for 600+ kids. Friday is crazy because it is the day before the walk-a-thon and everyone has two hundred questions. Then my playgroup is meeting to take pictures of the whole group for a year book we are doing to chronicle our 5 years together. I have plans to collapse on Saturday evening.

The kids are doing great

The turkey was fabulous - we had cornbread stuffing, mashed potatoes, pearl onions, broccoli and glazed carrots.
