I still have tons of cookies in this house! Last night we were at a cookie making party and my cousin sent the cookies home with all of us, lol. Sadly I want to eat them all because it is that time of the month and they are just so good. I am stopping myself by popping up to do some chore every time I get the urge to open one of the tins. yes you read that right tinS.

Why did dh tell Philip that we were getting him a bike? It was suppose to be a surprise. He says well we need to take him with us so we get the right size. Hello! there is this thing called a tape measure. We measure him and then the bike when we get to the store. They always are asking to be measure so it would be easy to just up date the growth chart and he would have never known it was to go get him a bike.

We were down in So. Cal. visiting family. My parents and my inlaws live about a mile apart so we got to see both of them in one visit. We all seem to be sharing colds this year. Which is better than last year when we all ended up with the flu, one right after the other.

How is Ian doing now? Is he all over it? How has the visit from the inlaws been?

Philip had a fantastic Christmas if you ask him. He got quite a few Lego kits and has been having a blast putting one of them together since we got back yesterday. It is one of the Agents set and he loves that it has a block that acts as an alarm if you bump it. He is also very happy to have the complete set of the first Warriors series. He is donating his copy of the first book in the series to his teacher's library when he heads back to school. He said he doesn't need two of that book and the kids in his class will enjoy having it in the class library. He could have taking it back and exchanged it for another but said he'd rather do it this way and share the book.
