Hey everyone.

My poor girl has the flu. After talking to my mother who suggested Gatorade, Vapor Rub, Tylenol and Motrin along with cold cloth wash downs, I was wondering if anyone else had advice or things they use to help kids through a cold/flu.

Big Hugs Sweetie! All I have to suggest is to keep her well hydrated and if she is vomiting, give her small sips of warm 7UP! Hope she gets to feeling better soon!!!

Hi,
I hope she is feeling better by now. I agree, give lots of fluids and tons of hugs. Chicken noodle soup is good - even if they just drink the broth. Also Jello is good. Anything bland...like toast, applesauce, 7-up etc.
I hope she is back on her feet very soon,

I'm sorry your daughter has the flu! The only thing I can think of in addition to what the other ladies posted is an electric blanket (or a heating pad if you don't have one). I find that it helps with the muscle aches.

Sending get well vibes to your little one!
