My mornings were always a rush to try to get out the door on time. Sometimes there were tears; sometimes they were mine.

Have I ever mentioned how much I hate the morning rush? It really is one of the worst times of day around here. I know that the more I can do before the boys wake, the better, so I'm trying to plan ahead more so things aren't as chaotic. And, as much as I hate it, I've started waking the boys up a bit earlier than I did last year. I've found that even 15 minutes extra in the morning helps out a ton.

I've never thought of using a timer but I love that idea! I can't even count how many times I have to ask them to hurry up each morning. A timer would help a ton- thanks for the tip!

Oh, how funny! Shoes are constantly missing in this house too. I try to round them up the night before and set them by the front door but I often forget. I'm glad I'm not the only mom running around trying to find shoes in the morning!
