A controversial book, "Maggie Goes on a Diet" is scheduled to hit the bookshelves sometime in October.

There is no way that book would come into my house. It is way too young to be tackling such a topic. I have no problem with books that promote healthy eating and being healthy but the word "diet should be left out, IMO.

Makes you wonder why he missed the mark by so much with this book. The target range is way too young, I agree.

IDK, I think he is trying to hit on topics big in kids lives now. I don't think I would even suggest the book for my teenage daughter.
