All three of my little ones love to read, and are always bringing different books to me, saying read this to me please, then we start the I read, then they read to me thing.

They love book fair time :)

That is so great! I really think it makes such a difference when you start reading to them young.

I agree!!

The earlier you introduce it, the better they can learn tha tit's fun and helps them learn.

It's better than the video game alternative, which isn't bad, but the little DS game systems are moderation when they are around them, or receive them as gifts.

They need to be active and play, read to engage their mind, not sit and play games all the time.

Oh I so agree about the video games. We have a Wii, so some of the games get you up and moving, but we still try to limit the time spent on it.

They say that kids can benefit from being read too as well. I'm glad that he is improving on his reading.
